Learning seems to get harder with age. It is not that I do not want to learn, rather, it is that I have to make a much more conscious effort in doing so. I have been thinking a lot lately about what my passions are and what I really want to become good at. If your interested in a great book regarding this subject check out Malcolm Gladwell’s book: Outliers. It can be purchased here.
The first thing I would like to become much better at is telling stories. Storytelling to me is more than just verbal folklore. Storytelling is the art of conveying messages. This happens in nearly every facet of life. Whether their is a story behind the jam you just ate or the computer you just purchased, there is a story behind it. Over the next few days, keep an eye out for posts regarding my learning in the realm of storytelling.
